Making an Order

We have designed our site to make purchasing our products easy, just brows our products and add the desired items to your basket. Once you have finished click the checkout button at the top of the screen. You will then be asked to fill out some basic information so we can send your items to you.

Order by Phone

We are happy to take order by telephone, as we are a chain of retail shops we are familiar with talking to our customers. Please feel free to call us on 01743 468 510 and place your order by phone. We understand that other websites may charge for this service but we do not.

Payment Methods

Once you have filled in the order form you will be asked to pay for your goods. We have several payment options:

1.       Pay by card online through our secure browser. (By using this method your payment details are kept secure and funds will only be taken from your account once your goods have been dispatched.)

2.       Send a Cheque (If you pay by this method please allow time for your cheque to clear. Goods will only be dispatched once a cheque has cleared.)

3.       Over the Phone (we are happy to receive orders by phone at no extra cost.)

 In stock Guarantee

We do not believe an item should be on sale if it is not in stock. Having our products in stock and ready to ship out the day they are ordered allows us to offer you a good service and fast delivery.

It works on a real time stock control system; once an item has been purchased the stock control automatically adjusts to the new level.

 You can shop in confidence knowing that the item you have purchased is there and reedy to be shipped. You will not be able to order an item that is not in stock.

If you still wish to purchase an item that is not in stock please call our customer service line on 01743 468 510 and they will be happy to advise on delivery times and place an order for you.

 Faulty Goods

All products come with a 30 day guarantee. If you receive any goods from us which are faulty we will under the Sales of Goods Act 1979 offer:

1.       A Full Refund (including postage for the product and any postage cost incurred from returning the product)

2.       Offer a Replacement of the original product. (We will refund any postage costs incurred from returning the original product and will not charge postage for sending the replacement.)

This does not affect you statutory rights.

We would ask you to call our customer service line 01743 468 510 and inform them that you have received a faulty product. They will then issue you with a returns form. This will then help us deal with your faulty goods in a timely manner.

Please note that any goods returned to us that are not faulty will not be returned to sender.

 Order Cancellation (Pre-Shipment)

You can cancel an order at any time before we have shipped it. Just call our customer service e line on 01743 468 510 and give them your name, order number (this is in your order confirmation e-mail) and the reason you want to cancel your order. Your order will be cancelled immediately. Please remember money is only taken from your account once your goods have been dispatched, so no refund will need to be issued.

 Order Cancellation (Post-Shipment)

We are happy to receive an order back and issue a full refund. In order to return an item(s) to us you will need to call our customer service line on 01743 468 510 and inform us you would like to return your goods. You will then be e-mailed a returns form to accompany your goods. Returns forms help us to issue your refund as quickly as possible.

Due to the nature of items we sell there are conditions attached to you receiving a refund.

1.       All items returned must not have been used

2.       Items must be returned in the same condition they were received in, with all parts included and any packaging and header cards included.

3.       Items must be in a re-saleable and reasonable condition. (we are sure you would not want to receive an item that was not in good condition)

4.       Returns must be made within 14 working days of your receipt of the order. (we believe this gives enough time to view or try the product on, and sufficient time to resend it if it is unwanted)

5.       All responsibility for the safe return and cost of returning an item(s) remains with the sender. (we would recommend you send your items back by First Class Recorded mail)

These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

 Images on Our Site

Product images on our site are used to give the customer the best possible representation of the products. We try to keep the product images up to date, and as close to the description as possible. The colours on the product images may vary slightly to their actual colour depending on your computers settings and screen resolutions. Please use the description to get an accurate representation of the product. We do not take responsibility for how you perceive the product based on the product image.

All our images are protected by copywriter. Permission has been obtained to use all product images. Taking images from our site without prior consent breaches copywriter laws.

 Security

Play and Party holds no credit card information either electronically or manually. All credit card information submitted on our site goes straight to Pay Pal where it is processed after your order is dispatched. If you place an order over the phone your card details will be processed straight into our secure H.S.B.C terminal.
