Here are just a few free games! No hen party is complete without a lot of fun and plenty of games! Remember to use your imagination and to make the games as personal and daring as the bride to be would like!
Most games can be adapted by simply using certain objects, words or dares. A simple quiz or the classic game truth or dare can create a lot of laughs. Decide who and what kind of people will be there, what will they enjoy?, what will make them laugh? and most importantly how brave are they? Remember that women love to chat and laugh, so creating a fun night really shouldn't be too difficult.
Consequences
This is an old classic game that’s fun and doesn’t take much preparation. All you need is a few pieces of paper and some pens.
The aim of the game is to produce a short story, and depending on how silly your friends are feeling will determined how good the stories can be.
Each person is given a piece of paper and a pen. Then they each write down something, fold the paper over so that what they have written cannot be seen by the next person, then they pass the paper to the person on their left. You can choose any basic outline of what can be written. Be creative! Here is the classic outline!
What happened / You Write
"Boy's name"
Met "Girl's name"
In/At/On "Place"
He said "What he said"
She said "What she said"
He did "What he did"
She did "What she did"
Consequences were "What the consequences were"
When the stories are complete you can take turns or choose one person to read out each story!
Mr and Mrs Game
The Mr and Mrs Game is a great game that can be lots of fun!
It would work best by asking the groom 10-20 questions in advance and getting the bride to answer them at the hen party.
The questions may be as follows
His shoe size? His favourite film? His perfect date? Best flavour of crisps? Most wanted place to visit? Where his football team plays? Age of his first kiss? Favourite teacher?
Remember these can be as personal or as silly as you like get creative! Also the bride to be can be awarded points or dares if she gets the answers right or wrong.
Wedding Dress Creations
Get your group to split into two teams and give them each a separate room and some supplies such as bin bags and toilet rolls give them about 10-15mins to create a wedding dress and have one of the team model the dress- the bride to be can be the judge of which one is best and awards and dares can be given out!
Alternatively- blindfold the bride to be and create a dress for her and make her look as stupid or nice as desired. You can then send pictures of her to her groom to be or take her to a public place to really get a laugh!
Jar of Advice
Create a jar of advice for the bride. Decorate a jar beforehand or small box. Then throughout the evening get people to write one piece of advice on a small piece of paper. Fold the pieces of paper and put them in your jar to present to the bride to be, at the end of the evening!
Kiss The Hunk
A twist on the classic game pin the tale on the donkey! Take a picture of a sexy hunk, this can be a favourite film star of the bride to be. Then all apply lots of lipstick then take turns blindfolded to try and kiss the hunk on the lips. The picture also can be sectioned off in areas, certain areas can be treats/ dares/points.
Pass The Hand Squeeze
The aim of the game is to have two groups holding hands and to pass a squeeze through each person to reach the end of the line first to pick up the item waiting at the end of the line and the first team to get back where they started wins.
Find an item that is small enough to be picked up quickly such as a lipstick or fluffy handcuffs. Have the party split into two teams and have them sit in two lines facing each other ( opposite each other) holding hands. Have the referee sitting at the top of the line and the item (lipstick) sitting at the bottom equal distance from each row in reaching distance.
Everyone must close their eyes apart from the two at top watching the coin. Have the referee flip a coin when the coin if flipped and is heads each person is to squeeze hands and pass the squeeze to tell the person at the bottom to pick up the item, no talking is aloud. Whoever is first to pick up the item goes to the top of the line! The first line to get back to the first person wins. When the coin is read wrong and a false squeeze is sent the person at the end of the line has to go backwards!
The Chocolate Game
The aim of the game is to eat as much chocolate as possible.
You will need to prepare a tray with a massive bar of cubed chocolate like dairy milk, a knife, fork, washing up gloves and underpants (or other items).
The party sits in a circle and each take a turn to throw a dice! When a 6 is thrown the person has to put the pants on their head and put on the washing up gloves then use the knife and fork to cut a cube off and eat the chocolate. The items must be worn and only a few cubes can be eaten at a time not a chunk. Keep playing untill the chocolate has all gone.
Poems
Why not all write a silly or nice poem for the bride it could be a limerick or simple poem. It can be silly or serious and can be something for the bride to keep.
Playdoh Pictionary

Have the party split into two teams then ask one person at a time from each team to come forward ( they will need a tray or table to make their items on) Show the two people what the word is and tell them to create this word out of playdoh without talking. When they are ready say go- the rest of the teams have to guess and the first to guess gets a point. The team that guess the most right the fastest wins.
